Obuv Rossii to offer goods to Belarus, Georgia, Kazakhstan via Tmall
MOSCOW, Dec 2 (PRIME) – The group of companies Obuv Rossii, one of Russia’s largest shoe retailers, will sell its goods in Belarus, Georgia and Kazakhstan via online floor Tmall, part of Alibaba, a group spokesperson told PRIME on Monday.
“Tmall for our company is an additional channel of sales, which will enable us to cover a new audience and attract clients from different regions of Russia. In the future, the floor will help us expand the geography of sales thanks to the CIS countries, like Belarus, Georgia and Kazakhstan, to which we have no delivery so far,” said Timur Yefimov, head of online sales at Obuv Rossii.
Tmall already sells women’s footwear under brand Westfalika, Obuv Rossii’s retailer chain, as well as a small range of clothes and associated accessories. In case of success, the group will offer the largest possible assortment, including clothes and other merchandise, on Tmall.
In January–September, the share of online sales in Obuv Rossii’s retail revenue reached 13.8%.
